Global Degree Audit Assistant (Temporary Part-Time)


UIW Mission


Position Summary
The Global Degree Audit Assistant is responsible for assisting with the graduation audit process for international and global programs within the Office of the Registrar. The Global Degree Audit Assistant reports to the Global Operations Manager.

This is a temporary part-time position expected to last up to 6 months from start date.

Essential Functions


Job Duties


Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing academic records.
  • Ability to interpret and apply university policies and degree requirements.
  • Familiarity with relational databases or student information systems.
  • Competence in organizing documents, managing data, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the department and university community.
  • Problem‑solving skills when evaluating academic discrepancies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.


Required Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Required Work Experience
Two (2) years of experience in an office environment involving customer service and working with database systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least six (6) months of experience with relational databases, information systems, or CRM platforms.
  • At least six (6) months of experience in an educational or academic setting.
  • Moderate Spanish language proficiency.
  • Familiarity with compliance or audit processes.
  • Some college.

Work Hours
20 hours per week with flexibility within the standard hours of Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs of office/event materials, to include to reaching overhead, bending, and squatting to retrieve materials.
  • Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time, such as graduation.
  • Ability to regularly move about campus and event venues to actively engage faculty, staff, and potential/current students, as well as attend meetings on and off campus.
