Currently, UWM offers 15 sports at the NCAA Division I level, with more than 300 student-athletes in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, women’s volleyball, women’s tennis, and baseball.Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and in accordance with all NCAA , Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations this position will perform athletic training duties that help ensure the health and safety of our student-athletes. The assistant athletic trainer will provide preventative care and treatments and rehabilitation support for student-athletes as it relates to injuries or illnesses. This position is responsible for managing the evaluation documentation for the student-athletes that they work with. The designated sport oversight of this position will be with baseball and secondary coverage of men’s and women’s cross country in the fall.
